YES WE DID!

ETA: C'mon. Don't tell me this image doesn't make you tear up a bit. Standing on the shoulders of giants.

We wrote about that image of Jesse Jackson in our blog -- it told the story, didn't it! For all the gaffes he made recently, he was part of the 60s that started the change. He and John Lewis and so many others. What a moment.

Happy woofs, Wally. Waking up this morning was such an amazing difference from waking up four years and eight years ago.

And a puppy!!! It has to be you.

Happy, happy woofs,

Jake and Just Harry

Amazing. I was with a whole bunch of American friends here in Montreal, and everyone was just so happy. That shot of Jesse Jackson ... amazing.

Many leaky eyes were seen when discussing this event--Condi Rice (soon to be Dubya's ex-office wife), Colin Powell, Juan Williams. Those of us who have not lived with the burden of racism got a glimpse of just how much this election means to many who have lived with that burden.
