Look! It's our next Veep!
And our former Prez! The best line: People the world over have always been more impressed by the power of our example than by the example of our power.
Also John Kerry (our shoulda been Prez) gave the best speech I've ever seen him give so good on him.
I've been practicing my speechification because I know that my invitation to give the nomination speech for Obama was just lost in the mail and his peeps will be showing up any minute to whisk me to Denver. Mile High, here I come!
See me practicing, guys?
What do you think I'm saying?
And how many jokes about the VP shooting people in the face can I fit in?
See how hopeful I am? I have my own halo!
And my new friend Gucci asked where to get a Barking for Barack Tee--my shop is here.

We had a hot time in the old TV room last night. Muzzer tends to get excited. Dad makes notes. You gotta wonder how they've lasted all these years.

What time will your speech be on tonight...I don't want to miss it! gObama - W00t!
Lots of Licks, Ruby
Our Mom is so slow -- she only saw your shop with the Barking for Barack stuff now -- so she'll be getting us a few things.
Now -- we don't ever remember such eloquence as what we've had the last few nights. Starting with Michelle, then Hillary, and last night with Bill and Joe -- and you're right -- if John Kerry had spoken more like the way he spoke last night, he might have been prez (and maybe we here in Floriduh wouldn;t have mattered so much!).
Bill was so on target; he's still "got it."
We were very proud to be Dems. Mom said to Dogdad, Can you imagine how I would hate myself if I weren't???
This morning, Morning Joe's guests on MSNBC were deriding the Dems for not being nastier in ripping the Bush administration. In this bizarro world, is the criterion for success how nasty one can be?
We dogs have a better way!!
